Barbados and West Indies opener Omar Phillips sustained a blow to his head and lay unconscious on the field.
Coming hot on heels of the Phillip Hughes tragedy, there was understandably a lot of concern for the batsman. His injury came in rather more unconventional circumstances though, as he was trying to evade a straight drive from the non-striker's end and was struck at the back of his head. He collapsed immediately, and was rushed to Milton Kato Memorial Hospital, in Kingstown in St Vincent.
