Jacques Kallis and Kolkata Knight Riders have a strong bond and they are planning to take it a step ahead. Kallis will not play for KKR in IPL 2015 but will be there with the franchise as a mentor and the batting consultant.
Kallis, 39, announced retirement from test cricket in December 2013 and later in July 2014 he announced retirement from all sort of international cricket to focus on Twenty20. Kallis will now be part of the Knight Riders coaching staff comprising Trevor Bayliss, Wasim Akram and Vijay Dahiya.
